Canoe Safari, Čapljina

An unforgettable experience not to be missed, especially for fans of extreme sports, but also for all others who wish to experience direct contact with nature, is canoe safari on the Trebižat River.

The river is very calm and quiet at the beginning of excursion routes, and later becomes fast and exciting. During the trip you will see a lot of fish and birds as well as beautiful travertine waterfalls. The tour starts at the location Matica (30 km from Mostar and 60 km from Makarska) and ends below Čapljina. The entire route is 7 kilometers long. You will quickly learn to handle and manage a canoe paddle, and the easiest way to get into the canoe out of the water. When it comes to clothes, you will feel the most comfortable in shorts or a bathing suit, T-shirt and sandals or sports shoes. A rescue belt is obligatory, and our advice is to put the sunscreen on.
